Now that we are in the month of the iPad, it got me curious about other unique inventions that have caused some excitement in the past. These ideas may seem a bit odd, but I'm sure some of the inventors made a good chunk of change from them. People will buy anything...
This collection of alternate tv and movie posters proves that some designs don't require a lot of fluff to get a message across. Some of the images take a little more thought than others, but they are all pretty clever.

Calling myself an "MJ Superfan" doesn't even begin to describe how much I love Michael Jackson. Losing him this week has been awful. Time magazine put together a collection of memorable MJ moments (good and bad). He will be greatly missed.
Lately, it seems like all we talk about in the office is how addicting some snacks are. So naturally, when I'm not talking about food, I look it up on the internet. Not only did this blog remind me of all my favorite childhood snacks... it just made me hungry all over again. Awesome.
Check out theses ridiculous home theaters! I would totally make mine into the Black Pearl pirate ship... Or the living room set up of the Cosby show.

The pet-Halloween costume industry has become larger than I thought. It's one thing to put a funny hat on your dog during Halloween and show him off to the neighborhood - but it is completely ridiculous to put your cat through this same Halloween torture. Just look at how pissed off all these cats are. We need to take a stand and put an end to cat costumes.
This probably won't be a new site to many people but it was a first time visit for me. The t-shirts at Busted Tees are pretty clever. I'm a big fan of all the lame TV references, like the "Chubbies" t-shirt from Boy Meets World. I know I'm not the only one that loved that show!
This guy's work is pretty unique. Although most of his sculptures appear to just be a hybrid of alien forms and spaghetti, you gotta love the crayons!
