i don' t know much about this firm but thanks to daryl at plaid we got to see this gem of a holiday card. enjoy and please never stand too close to the microwave
The most amazing pop-up book ever for type nerds like myself. Its got spinning designs and vellum overlays! What more could you ask for! The curves of the letter B slide out from a column thinly striped in red: they appear as narrowly spaced concentric arcs, creating an almost hypnotic effect... You get the point.
i love space. i could sit and look at the stars until the sun comes up. with this astronomy photo of the day, nasa is giving us all a little peek into what is really out there.
thanks to pete we now know about the "Surrounded By Asses" calendar. this is classic fun with a killer homemade feel. i love it.
Not sure about everyone else, but when I was younger I was all about making pictures in my mashed potatoes during the holidays. These food creations put mine to shame... guess I will need to try harder this holiday season. Check out the awesome creations Obento! has collected on Flickr
The holidays are a great time for DIY projects at least in my house, so this Dove is prefect. Instructions and all, no video though. Still not sure about the red LED though, might have to hunt for a different color.
With web compliant rules becoming more and more important for the impaired, its no wonder that someone thought to take the latest technology to such a level. A truly brilliant, innovative product design from Bruno Fosi, makes the Apple iPhone more accessible to the Visually Impaired. Fosi created a simple silicon cover for the Apple iPhone device, that uses engraved bas-relief icons, and keyboard and multi-touch scrolls that don't compromise the functions of the iPhone.
I'm a big fan of Michael Muller's photography, especially his water shots. Everyone from sports to entertainment is pretty familiar with his work. Check out some of his new pictures though... good stuff!
According to their website, these guys consider themselves the A-Team of bike pimping. Cool. They've been getting some big exposure on the YouTube and what not. Check out their skillzz; Some of their bike frame designs are insane! Thanks Reggio of the UK for posting this on QBN
the artwork of rosemarie fiore is pretty intense. besides the impressive amount of work, the depth and the experimentation is stellar her fireworks series is really outstanding. spend some time checking it out.
the simplicity in the drawings of veronica blejman are what makes them so beautiful. i love the use of words with the drawings and the simple colour palette. i wish the drawings in my spanish one book were more like these...
