Its one thing to photograph the sandwiches you eat, but why not take it a step further and actually scan your sandwiches. Check out the last month in sandwiches.

Makes a cool desktop wallpaper for us typeophiles. The Periodic Table of Typefaces shows the font, type-designer’s name, year designed and family and/or class. I'm just glad you won't find papyrus or comic sans in this documentation of type! Thanks Squidspot.com!
miru kim is known as the 'naked urban photographer'. the nudity is secondary to the abandoned settings and creates a real feeling of desolation. while i havent seen these in person i would hope they are really big. they just have that kind of presence.
great looking design, easy to use and a great idea. me likey...
if you live in a major city you see all kinds of sponsored murals. even here in san luis obispo, ca we have a few. some might think this would be distracting but sometimes a distraction from your everyday life is necessary.
my friend pete sent me a link to a performance of pilobolus and after watching i went right to their site. amazing performers using their bodies to create recognizable images. they flow seemlessly. plus their site is beautifully designed as well.
With the new Watchmen movie coming out, I have to admit that I'm just as excited as every other comic book geek. This site called RetroCrush put together a list of the top 20 coolest super hero costumes. My only criticism... why is Wolverine only No. 13?
i love the composition of maura mcgoverns shots. even her clever title placement makes me happy. found her on twitter and am just super impressed with her work.
When all of your neighbors (whom you don't even know) start using your wi-fi connection without your permission, what do you do? You can lock it up with a password or you can put a sign and a chair out front, offer up your connection and meet the people sharing your electro waves. A refreshing "social" media experiment is seen with the yellow chair project; one that actually involves human interaction. Go figure.
A very interesting article put out by WIRED Magazine, exploring how operating within constraints—of making more with less—is especially relevant these days, and how the essence of design allows limits to boost creativity. Check out some of the innovative inventions designed within specific parameters, including packing an SLR into a pocket cam, and designing a better plastic bottle!
